JENNIFER BOYUAN HAN
Jennifer Boyuan Han explores technology's impact on human emotion and culture. Her Humanbot series examines the merger of humans and machines through nostalgic Chinese family photographs, using satire to question authenticity in digital life. She investigates how social media and AI erode traditional Chinese culture, employing blue-and-white porcelain as metaphor for displacement. Recently, Han has shifted to colored sand and torn photographic fragments to probe memory and identity as fragile, shifting, and continually re-coded in our technological age.
