Marianne Owens

My photography explores rural and urban landscapes, everyday objects, and surreal juxtapositions that invite reflection and dialogue. Drawing inspiration from Surrealism, I use imagery to spark hope and contemplation, blending elements of nature and the familiar to encourage personal interpretation. Beyond my own practice, I facilitate expressive arts programs for youth from underserved communities, using art as a tool for healing, self-discovery, and empowerment.
