Niki Lustig

I’m an Oakland-based artist working primarily in color and texture. After nearly ten years in San Francisco, I found home in the Oakland hills, where I paint from my garage studio. Trained in studio art and art history, I returned to painting after a 20-year pause — drawn back by the urge to fill blank walls and rediscover creative flow. My work balances intuition and structure, shaped by the layered rhythms of motherhood, work, and everyday life.
